How Do You Actually Make A House Run On Dunkin’?

Dunkin’ challenged their agencies to create a multi-platform campaign leveraging their big idea of making a home that can be powered off of Dunkin’ coffee grounds. A home that can literally “Run on Dunkin’™” The creative agency hired ELEMENT to research, concept, execute and deliver a library of compelling content for use across various distribution channels.

ELEMENT loves to solve big, creative challenges with expertise and practical knowledge. Utilizing our wide network, we pulled together a team of researchers to design a custom Tiny Home as well as identify manufacturers who could extract biofuel from coffee grounds. The experts determined that extracting the natural oils from the Dunkin’ bean grounds would yield a biofuel that could safely power a generator to run the Tiny Home.

The project took 8 months from concept through delivery, collaborating with the brand agency, media company, PR firm, event company, and client. We helped develop the video content strategy as well as creative development for the various long and short form films, and then shot, edited and delivered over 25 assets for use by the client and their partners. Some of the content featured influencers and celebrities like Olivia Wilde, The Brothers Green, and even a latte artist.

The press coverage generated over 1.1 billion impressions.
