Introduced to photography by a relative, PING became entranced with natural image makers and street photographers. This led to studying film and photography and soon he began working his way through every position in the camera department on many films and commercials.
PING’s motion picture and stills work are siblings as he is continuously looking to learn new and better ways to elevate both crafts, be it composition, lighting or the almighty patience.
PING’s true craftsmanship is shown when camera work and lighting are subliminal. Not interfering with the image or the story but enhancing it until the image is pure, honest and natural.
